They also have a decent selection of just about any other household stuff you may need - decent plastic brooms, storage containers and books (mostly hardback and trade paperback) can be had for a dollar.
About the only thing I have been disappointed with have been the electronics - the earbuds have been tinny and phone charging cords never last very long. This is definitely a case of you get what you pay for, but they will do in a desperate pinch.
I posted a scathing review last week. Turns out that the employee that told me he was the manager was not. I spoke with the District Manager who assured me he would handle the problem. He assured me that customers were a priority and that no customer should be exposed to the treatment I received. Thank goodness. I sure hated not going to Dollar Tree. I am checking back with District Manager next week to see outcome. Will keep you posted. Looking forward to changing this rating to 5 stars!
Some of the stuff, like certain snacks and frozen food, change out fairly often and are either seasonal or special buys so it's best to get what you like when you can.
This is a great place if you need snacks or frozen food. They have a small but decent selection of cold and/or frozen dairy, breakfast, fruit, vegetables, 'junk' food and desserts. (Be sure to check the cheeses though - they aren't always 'real.') They have several aisles of snack food as well as a small but good selection of loaf bread, canned vegetables, pasta and sometimes a few baking items like corn starch or syrup.
It’s a small store, but they stock everything you’d find in a larger one. I get tons of decorations and gift bags here. They have really fun glassware for all the holidays. Employees are usually pretty cheerful, which is nice because we all know that retail is a hard job.
We had a very pleasant experience visiting to do our shopping. The store was peaceful, clean & employees were very kind & helpful. By the way they have lots of great deals. Thank you Dollar Tree in Portland ,Tn.
Busy times are usually after 3 p.m., because of the workers getting out of the nearby factories.
Generally pretty well organized. Tight aisles but fun for the treasure hunt. Great for cute cards!
