I like this store. You can find good deals here, especially in the meat and seafood section. I have gotten more than a few packages of beef and chicken here to put in the freezer. They are usually two pound packages - or more - and they would be marked about half of the original price. For those who check such things, the sell by date is usually very good and several days away.
Its alright. Its nothing to writ home about. It has a decent selection at an okay price. If you're in the area you could find worse, but chances are you can also find better.
The staff at the checkouts are usually very friendly as well. Many are willing to talk to you as they ring up your order and they acknowledge you as a person.
Food Lion has a great selection in a very courteous staff. Even the people in the bakery will go out of their way to make sure that you receive excellent customer service.
This is one of the cleanest stores I've been in produce was fresh and colorful meats were reasonably priced. And the cashiers were all courteous and professionally trained an overall great grocery experience. The lines move very fast so go visit this Foodlion they will make you smile
I love my local food lion there employee's are all awesome! They have what I need and in stock about 98% of the time. But that's just on coke products provided and stocked by coca cola. Clean store as well. I love there sale prices and meat dept keeps up with meat sales as well. I have found myself shopping here and saving a little more money than I do at Walmart.
