I've ordered take out and sat down inside and sat down outside. Love this restaurant, it's my go to Mexican restaurant in Portland. Friendly staff,and always get my order correct (which is difficult considering I don't like lettuce or tomatoes or Pico). But they always get my order correct. Their food is delicious, and is authentic Mexican.
until recently this was a very awesome, authentic, and enjoyable Mexican dining experience. Now the quality and quantity of their food is in serious decline. Sad because this has always been one of the local favorites and we've spent a lot of money there over the years. From now on, not so much.
No horchata, no tortas! Uhhh. Food and service was good. I'm from the south side of Chicago so I hold a high standard for Mexican food. And what is with this white queso cheese sauce down here ??
Manager of the establishment, would not listen, nor hear, our issue, all we got was, my family eats here, they don't have a problem. Why should we have to deal with others issues, rather than enjoy a family outing.
Had to take ourself to our table, waited 10 mind to event get our drink order taken. Meal was served with no napkins or silverware. Or waiter is top notch but his support, was well. No support!!!!!!!
After I got off work, my husband and I came here. We didnt check to see what time they close. It so happens we came 30 minutes before they closed. We felt guilty and was going to leave until the staff there offered us to stay and said that its ok they will still take care of us. I dont care what anyone says about this place. The staff here do a great job even when they're short staffed. They were so friendly to us. The food came out fresh and delicious. They didnt have to serve us that late but they did. They didnt rush us and really gave us great customer service even though it was closing time for them. Not all places would do that. Thank you El Azteca.
Food is and was Shocking, had to send meal back and still received a horrible meal. So salty, even my husband, who is a sale hound and a construction worker, could not tolerate. Fish should be flavour, not, overpowered. Not even the first time you receive you plate, let alone the second time.
Customer service is beautiful. If you get the right server.
